Christ’s Community Church is a place that is designed to help everyone no matter where they start on their journey of knowing Jesus. We have three distinct beliefs that guide every practice and endeavour we undertake. Our prayer is that you would see these three beliefs in action as we serve you.
we must be a healthy church.
Health is hard to measure in our own bodies, let alone a church. Yet, we have adopted a set of metrics that we believe help us keep a “pulse” on the health and vitality of our church. These metrics are called the 10 Healthy Missional Markers.
we must be Gospel-centered.
In ancient times, before social media, Romans would send a speaker into the town square to loudly proclaim Ceasar’s arrival to a bustling city. They called the message “good news” and this is where we get the word “Gospel.” The Gospel is the announcement that God has come to earth to set up a kingdom and to rescue, reconcile, and restore everything to Himself. He did this through His son, Jesus. All that we believe about God hinges upon this “good news.”
we must be a covenant family.
We get it, “Covenant” is a weird word, but it is just an ancient word that means an oath-bound relationship. It is more than just a contract between two parties. It is a commitment born out of love and sealed with an oath…like marriage.
At CCC we are a covenant family. We come from all sort’s of backgrounds, persuasions, ethnicities, political leanings. The differences are exponential. However, we are adopted by a great and wonderful God, and that makes us family. We believe that if CCC is our home church, then we should covenant with each other to care for and love one another.
